Corey Wehr was born and raised in Yakima, WA and graduated from West Valley High School in 2004. Corey attended Washington State University where he graduated in 2009 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
Straight out of college Corey began working at a small engineering firm called Structure Engineering, Inc. in Union Gap, WA. There he learned the engineering basics for timber, steel, concrete and masonry structural design. In 2013 Corey left Structure Engineering Inc. to join the Meier Architecture & Engineering firm in Kennewick, WA. At Meier, Corey engineered equipment for Hanford and other nuclear facilities across the United States. Also, he helped engineer large facilities like CA storage and elementary schools.
In 2014, Corey left Meier to come to Goldendale, WA and start a structural branch at Pioneer Surveying & Engineering. Since 2014, he has branched out to include structural inspections, structural certifications, and home design to his resume.
